Boat documents required for the 2023-2024 Season
Please complete the following forms and upload them to your boat profile for the season:
Radio Declaration Form, required for all races - CLICK HERE to download a copy
- Please complete for the season. Upload to your race entry in the TopYacht system or store in your boat docs with TopYacht. Please ensure it is showing for each race you enter.
- Scan or copy your form and upload it to your race entry. If you need assistance to scan please ask your club sailing office. You can take a photo with a phone or tablet.
AS Special Regulations Equipment Audit Form, required for all races - CLICK HERE to download
- Contact a valid equipment auditor for your club and make a booking - contact your home club sailing office for a list of auditors that have been endorsed for your club. Auditors may only audit boats at clubs that have endorsed them as an auditor. (If a boat is unable to locate an auditor endorsed by their club that has also been endorsed by one of the five ORWA OA clubs, please contact ORWA by email for assistance. Please note that a club may endorse an auditor that is not a member of their club).
- The auditor will request an Equipment Audit Form number from your club.
- They will complete the audit with you. Ensure that the form is complete and signed by both the auditor and person in charge.
- Scan or copy your form and upload it to your race entry in the TopYacht system. If you need assistance to scan please ask your club sailing office. You can take a photo with a phone or tablet.
- The original copy should be kept by your home club sailing office.

AS Special Regulations Equipment Audit Form Additional items for Cat 3+
- Required for Cat 3+ races unless racing with a valid Cat 2 audit - CLICK HERE to download
- Please complete and upload to your race entry in the TopYacht system for any Cat 3+ race in addition to your Cat 3 audit form.
- A copy of the life raft certificate(s) of reinspection will also be required for races that are Cat 3+.
- If a boat is racing with a complete and valid Cat 2 form, the additional items for Cat 3+ form and the life raft certificates would not be required. These items would be already audited as part of a valid Cat 2 form (unless the life rafts are being hired for a race). **Please note that an audit with outstanding items listed is not a valid audit.
Enter the racing
Registration will be done through the TopYacht system. You will need to register your boat and upload your forms for the season. Your crew will register their own profile and you can add them to your boat.
